A Legacy of Real Estate Excellence Since 1945

Our history began in 1945, when founder Carl C. Ward returned to Ashland, Ohio after serving in the U.S. Navy and established a real estate company built on integrity, professionalism, and community connection. In 1947, his son Robert Ward joined the business, helping expand its reach and solidify its reputation for dependable, client-first service.

Robert became owner in 1968, guiding the company through decades of growth and market change. In 1991, leadership transitioned to the third generation—Robert G. Ward II and Polly Ward Chandler—who continued the firm’s commitment to excellence while expanding its services and strengthening its presence throughout north-central Ohio.
